Colton Is Fast

C: Hey Dad, when I'm-uh-done-uh-uh with my-uh-breakfast can I-uhm-have some-uh-granola?
Dad: Hey Colton, before you start talking, think about what you're going to say.
C: Why?
Dad: It will stop you from saying 'uh' all the time.
C: But that's how I wanted to think!

C: I turned a lot at hockey when I was just going halfway fast.
Me: Halfway fast?
C: Yeah, almost as fast as motorcycles!

C: Are these pajamas too comfy for you?
Me: No, I think they look very snuggly.
C: Yeah, I think they're too snug!
(Snug meaning snuggly, not ill-fitting, considering they're brand new)

Colton Goes to the Train Store

Yesterday ~

C: But Mom, I want to stay home!

Me: We can have a stay-home day tomorrow.

C: Oh. And in the morning, the train store will be open!

Me: Probably.

C: And it will be foggy.

Me: Wouldn't surprise me!

Turns out both were true statements.

In the produce section ~
C: There is healthy food here!  And you like healthy food! 

Me: Yes, yes I do! 

C: Tomatoes!  I like tomatoes! They are crunchy.  And I like crunchy apples! But I don't like bananas anymore.  If we don't eat them for a while, they turn brown.

Me: And then we can make muffins! 

C: We almost can make muffins! 

In the bath ~

C: Percy wants to get out of the water because he doesn't get out on his own.

Making pupcakes ~
C: Can I try this flour? (cake mix)
Me: Sure, but it probably won't be very tasty.
C: It tastes crunchy!

Colton licks off the caramel ~
C: All done, Mom! 
Me: But you didn't eat the cake part of your pupcake.
C: It's a cupcake. Call it a cupcake!

Me: You got pupcake all over you!
C: Don't eat me, I'm not a cupcake!

Yum?

Colton says his graham crackers taste like chocolate and fish. Chocolate = good. Fish = not so much.
