C: Mom, I'm gonna turn you into a banana! And I'm going to cover your face and arms and all your parts. And I'm gonna eat ya!

C: Hey guys, let's not talk.  But you have to talk to me!

C: Mom, you have to pause my dad!

C: I am going to knock down the roof, because this is the old roof.

Me: That sounds expensive.

C: It sounds like good.

C: I'm a pumpkin!

C: We don't like stinky feet because it's too spicy!

C: I only can find one shoe. And I have two feet.  If I had three feet, I would need three shoes.

C: Cookie crumbs.

C: All of the things.

Me: Not tonight; I'm making meatballs.

C: Can I have that sugar?
Me: No, get yer paws off.  That's for the squash!

C: First you have to look at dat-flix (Netflix) on your re-puter (computer) and find my Thomas!

C: I drawed an umbrella!

Mama was urging him to eat quicker so we could go to Zumba.
C: Well, but I have time.  My traffic isn't bad!

C: We run fast as the wind, but slow up the hill.

Me: You have a green mustache!
C: But it's too spicy.
Me: Remember not to drink the bath water!

C: No, I'm not gonna be done!  In no minutes!

C: Engines don't have hair like us.  See, I'm red and clean!

Dad: I am going to blow your belly!
C: I don't have a belly! 
Dad: Where's your belly?
C: In the microwave. But we can't eat it.  Because it's not food!




Dad: Mommy is going to be sad if you don't give her hugs & kisses.
C: But I will give her a drink!

Me: Do you have wine?

C: No, I have water.

Me: Okay, thanks.

C: But I will give you a voice and you can come up! 
[Translation: he will holler at me over the monitor and then I can come up]

I Am Not Gonna Be a Mom

Me: What should Daddy be for Halloween?
C: A puppet!  A red one!
Me: Elmo?

C: Mom, are you gonna have a costume?
Me: I don't know, what should I be?
C: A pumpkin!

C: Mom, you're not going to be a pumpkin.  You're gonna be spaghetti! And sauce! And cheese!
Me: Cheese, huh?
C: You're not going to be a mom.

C: Mom, do you like spicy?
Me: I do! Do you like spicy?
C: No.  If I had spicy then I would have to take a drink of water.

Me: I don't want to watch Thomas, and I don't want to watch hockey!
C: But it's Daddy's turn!

Me: Are you done with lunch?
C: You have to wait and see.

C: Well, I will get some. In my car.  It's green like you!

Me: Can I have my towel?
C: I will just be right back!
Me: But what if I get sweaty?
C: I will be a long, long way away!  And I will be too busy.

C: Where are you going today?
Me: I'm going to go have dinner with Daddy tonight and then am going for a run tomorrow.
C: I am going to be there at the finish! I like to see you at the finish, and when you get there I am going to the next finish!

C: Why is the noise quiet?
Not sure how to answer that one, buddy.

Sadly, "the news" met an unfortunate end and had to be thrown away.  A few pages had fallen off, so I was able to recreate some of the Thomas catalog, and threw in the inserts to a couple of his DVDs... Look, good as new!

And in other news, Colton was IN the news.  Or at least in the advertising for the Children's Museum.  Cool! 

 Trying to drink the water in the water room... LOL!

The downside to the new "news" is he now requests Thomas episodes from Netflix and knows them on sight!
