C: Can I have some clothes?
Me: Nah, I think you should just stand there and be cold.
C: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Me: I was teasing, yes, go get some clothes.
C: I don't like it when you tease me.
...
C: Why did you trip me?
Me: I didn't trip you. I teased you.
C: Oh. I don't like that.
C: Maybe we can eat like a family again!
Which means simply sitting at the table together. Doesn't even need to be all of us.
Me: What should we do today, Mr. Sicky?
C: I have a good idea! Let's stay home!
Me: Sounds good.
C: Are you sending a message to me?
Me: The blanket is big enough for both of us.
C: No, it's just for ONE KID! Not for girls! Just for boys!
C: Is that broccoli?
Me: Nope, it's celery.
C: I don't like it.
Me: I think you might with some peanut butter on it.
C: I do like it! But you don't! Celery makes you grow! Look at my muscles. My muscles are as big as yours! |
