Me: Hum?
C: Porcupines.  They have really hard quilts.

Me: Is that your microphone or a megaphone?
C: It's a microphone.  It helps my voice be bigger.  My voice is just this big and it helps it be this big.

Me: What a nice dad to take you to the train store!
C: But it wasn't nice of him not to buy me a train!

C: I am sad that I am sick and I am cross that I am sick.
(He was just super tired tonight, not actually sick)

C: I am so tired my teeth can't open! 
(To brush teeth)

C: Why do you check how cold I am every time?
Me: Just checking to see if you're running a temperature.  Goodnight, buddy.
