Colton on Star Wars

C: Do you know what we could do while the cookies bake?
Me: Hum?
C: Practice looking for Easter eggs, so we're the best finders at Easter.

Me: I expect you to have one hundred percent better behavior if you want to continue to have friends over.
C: Or just a billion percent.
Me: Sure, that too.

C: Maybe someday you can buy me the Eliminating Falcon!
Uhhhh...

That's a nice look.
Woot!  Training wheels off today!
Watching Star Wars ~
C: And he is going to grow a new arm since it got cut off, right?
Me: Yep.
C: I just hope that never happens to me! Besides, when I grow up, I'm not going to be a Jedi.  I'm thinking about being a mechanic.  And instead of working on cars, I'm thinking about working on something else.
Me: Like what?
C: I was thinking of working on race cars, and stuff.

Colton and the Egg

Morning compute

8:15 ~
C: I wish I couldn't get up this early!
Me: You can go back to sleep if you want.
C: No, I want to get up!

Eating a hardboiled egg ~
C: I'm trying to make it hatch!
Me: Good luck with that.

C: This is good water because I almost got it filled all the way to the top!

C: I'm gonna pedal up the big hill all by myself!
Me: You might have to walk your bike up the really big one.
C: No, I'll try not to use too much water.  Because I'm little, I won't use it all up!

C: I ooper-dooper want you to make me dinner!

Patience Is Not a Virtue We Possess

C: Mom?
Me: Just a second.
C: No, I don't want any seconds!
Me: You're not being very patient.
C: Why am I not?
Me:  I don't know. Your mom's not very patient either.
C: Yeah, because sometimes guys don't like to be patient.
Me: Right.

And to prove I'm in the running for Mother-of-the-year:
C: Good boys at the museum get fries!

Runnin' Boy

Megan posted a run on dailymile. Megan ran 3.68 miles in 40 mins and felt good.

The munchkin and I ran out to Carbucks and then to the park to play for a few while we were waiting for Dad to get off work. Colton narrated the entire trip ("Going to the trail, Mama? We're going on a walk-walk. We're running, Mama! Where is the trail? No want Carbucks! Is the broken park open? Happy birthday to ...you! A, B, C, D, now I know my ABCs! Ring around the posie, achoo achoo all fall down!")

The broken park = Lions Park which was closed for a remodel for months and is now open with a bunch of new toys and exercise equipment. I was wishing I had my camera out for Colton trying out the stair stepper! heheh
