C: They should paint that old, rusty engine.
Me: I don't think they will.
C: Why not?
Me: It's part of the history of this town.
C: I didn't know this town had history!

C: Do you know why I want to lift weights? Because I want to be strong like you!  And so I can grow up to be as strong as a giant, a Skylander Giant!

C: So that's what smells!

C: Why do you always take us on these long walks?
Me: Says the boy that ran miles and miles at the jog-a-thon.
C: I can just go 3 miles.
Me: We haven't even made it a half mile yet, so march, mister!

Silvertips Training Camp

Me: Did you have fun watching the Tips today?
C: Uhm...sure.
Me: I see.
C: The best part was getting my teddy bear.
Me: Of course it was.

Dinner Conversations

Camping is hard.  Tho he was out for the 15 minute 

drive between Granddad's and park #2 for the day.

C: I just saw my neighborhood!  And she just drove by!  (neighbor)

C: I'm just a little scared of the dark.
Me: Why?
C: Because it's too dark and I can't see things.

C: Mom! I managed to carry my burger and didn't let anything fall out!  With one hand!  Was that surprising?
Me: Yes, yes it was.

C: What if you had pipes with lots and lots of soap in it?
Me: I don't know, what if?
C: You just have to dump all the soap out and then it will be safe for drinking.  Is that amazing?

C: And my belly will be bigger than yours!  And it will be so big, it will touch the sky! 

Little girl followed him everywhere in the park today ~ she was totally fascinated by his blinking shoes.
C: Yeah, I liked her shoes too!  They were pink and had polka dots! But on the spiderweb thing, she could only climb to the middle.
