Mad Colton Is Mad

Somebody spent two-thirds of the game like this because I was a horrible mom and didn't let him buy something from the team store.... Mind you he has a coat, 2 shirts, jammies, a foam finger and claw, a flag, cowbells, a game puck, a stuffed bear, and I'm probably forgetting something.  Oh, and a souvenir hockey stick.

Dad: It's waaaay past somebody's bedtime.
C: Not mine!
Dad: Look at the clock, what does that say?
C: 7 o'clock!  (it was 10p)

You really can never be too careful watching TV

Zoom! Zoom!

Dad: When you were the twins's age, you used to call Oma & Opa Minum and Pa.
C: HA!
Dad: We're going to go see them in a few weeks.
C: And stay over night?
Dad: Yep, for the weekend.
C: I want to stay a whole week!
Dad: You can't, you have school.
C: Why?
Dad: Because you have school.  But we'll see, maybe during the summer.
C: And I'll try not to get in any trouble.

C: And I'm riding so fast you can't even see me!

A real "pile" revs up and speeds on by ~
C: Wow, that's a really fast car!
Me: No it's not.
C: Why?
Me: Because, it's just not.

The Nightly News

C: Can we go to the train store?
Me: We don't have time before school.
C:  But I don't like going to school most days.  I'm not going to go every day! 

Dad: You going to get up?
C: I'm trying, but it's really hard.

C: Will you still love me when you go out tonight?
Me: Of course I will! You never stop loving your kids.  Ever.
Break my heart!

C: I need to watch the weather!  Jeff Weather (Renner) is on, and that guy is Jim.

C: This sauce was pretty licky!

C: This 'S' always has to be in the front or I have them on sideways or backwards.

C: Maybe you can just put him down so I can snuggle with you!

C: I'm making a bubble sandwich!
Me: Don't eat it!
C: But I drinked it.
Me: Ew.
C: But I pretend!

C: I'm scraping Molly all shiny & clean!

On the way home today ~
C: I have Edward and he is very special. I got him from the train store!
