Colton, Culinary Expert

Riveting children's programming
On Circus Animal Cookies ~
C: Which kind do you like best?
Me: They taste the same to me.  Do you think they taste different?
C: The pink one tastes lemoner.  That's a special kind of lemon that makes it taste yummy.  And the white one tastes orangener.  And it has a special kind of orange that makes it taste good.

Dad: It seems like you don't have your listening ears on today.
C: They're just recharging.
Me: You need to charge them during the night so they're ready by the next day.
C: Sometimes they need a little longer.  Like through breakfast to charge.

C: And when I earn 100 rewards, I'm gonna choose to go to Phoenix so we can go to a Coyotes game and get a Coyotes flag!

C: OW!  My rib hurts.  I guess I'm gonna need a new skeleton, right?

Talking to Dad about what the twins were up to that morning ~
C: How do you remember all that stuff?
Dear Colton, here is your introduction to girl brain.

C: Every time you turn off my light, it makes my brain fall apart a little bit.

Colton Goes to the Fire Station

Could only get 2 out of the 3 boys to wear their
hats at the same time.

C: We're gonna hop onto the west!

C: My mom found my backpack!
Jordan: Good remembering!

Fireman: Who here likes to play with matches?
*Colton raises his hand*

Fireman: Are there any questions about what to do in a fire?
C: My mom took apart my train track last night!

Jasmine (to C): Are you scared for your first time at the fire station?
Roffle!

C: You're not a fireman anymore when you take your hat off.

C: My badge tells me where the fires are.

Me: Do I hear fighting?
C: We're fighting about not fighting anymore!

Colton Wants Dessert

I'm squishing you!
Me: Do you want to go with me to get our fruit box tomorrow?
C: Yeah, and I will carry it in!
Me: It's pretty heavy, so do you want to help me?
C: Yeah, you can carry the end and I'll carry the middle side!

C: If you don't let me have dessert one more time, I won't let you talk anymore!

C: I'm checking the size on my new sandal-shoes!
(They're new shoes, but he keeps calling them sandals.  And he would really like to take them to bed with him tonight.)
