Colton & I have been reading the Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. The language is a little beyond him, but we talk about what's happened after each chapter. He got VERY excited when I told him there was a movie based on the book.
And what better place to watch it? Why, from the wardrobe!
Me: Where are they?
C: They're at the lamppost!
C: This is the pride of the keep!
C: This is the keep of the house! It will keep us safe! Do you want to come in the wardrobe with me?
C: I will just close the doors during the scary parts. This part is pretty scary.
C: I am in here and I am fine!
C: I really love this wardrobe!
C: I'm trying to get the back open.
C: Mom, I feel the back moving!
C: I really want to go somewhere in this wardrobe!
C: I need to pack my bed so I'll be ready to go!
C: This is a very special airplane called a model. It's a very silly airplane.

Colton Is Random
C: Yeah, and I will eat it all!
Me: And not share with Mama & Dada?
C: No, because I am very hungry! I won't stop eating til morning!
Me: *giggle*
C: What, Mom?
Me: Your dad.
C: But we beat Dad home! And he’ll be home late. And he’ll be tired and won’t have any sleep. I take naps!
Thank you, Mr. Random.
Thank you, Mr. Random.
Me: Colton, not okay!
C: I'm sorry, Mom. Are we still friends?
C: We made a song for you today! It has ants in it.
Me: The Ants Go Marching song?
C: Yeah. And it has As in it!
Me: Yeah. Are you going to sing it for me?
C: No. I want you to sing it!

Colton on Puddles
Hmm. The gravitational pull of mud puddles is curiously strong.
C: Mama, I might get you all dirty. Mud is nice!
