Me: Let me see your hands.
C: Just this one!
Me: You were supposed to wash both hands, buddy.
C: But this one didn't get sticky.
Me: Go wash both of them.
C: But I already washed this one!
Me: Okay, go wash the other one!

Girl at the park: I'm king of the world!
C: And I'm the queen too!

C: I'm awesome!
Me: And humble.

C: Hey kids! I'm going to show you something cool!  I made a water system!

C: Mom, I'm having trouble getting this last one!
Me: Are you complaining?
C: No, I'm telling the truth!

C: Mom, I'm a star!  An Angry Birds star!

C: What was your favorite part of the day?
Me: Taking you on a bike ride.  I liked that.  What was your favorite part?
C: Mmm, taking a drive in the blue car, so we can have it for when our babies come!

C: The blue car has 3 seats in the back! One for Shrek, and one for Cartman!
Me: Oh good.

C: When our babies come, I will help you.  And when are they going away?
Me: They aren't going away.  They will be with us forever and ever and you are going to be a big brother.  Are you excited?
C: No!  When they come, I will be mean!
Me: That would make me sad.
C: It would make me happy.
Me: We're not mean to babies, buddy.

C: When I smell this flower, it makes my nose pokey.
