Colton on the Olympics

C: Can you move the bed?
Me: No, not tonight.  Why though?
C: So I can get my Lego Hulk’s head!  But he can still talk through this slat right here!

C: Mom? You know what?
Me: What?
C: Can I tell you what?
Me: Yes, tell me!

Hearing the Olympics' jingle ~
C: The London news!

C: Mom? Why aren't you in the Olympics?
Me: I'm not fast enough.
C: You don't have to be fast in gymnastics.
Me: I'm too old for gymnastics, buddy.  But if you practice really hard, maybe you can go to the Olympics some day.

Colton Does Tuesday

C: I need this chop-stick to chop my mustache!  (chapstick)

Me: Ugh, somebody's car is stinky!
C: Yeah, Bridger just had some gas in his tummy.

C: I'm just gonna sit here until my owie is gone.  It's gonna take a few days or a few nights.

C: Are you resting on your knees?
Me: I said I'm looking at a recipe!

C: Africa is on my world spinner!

Colton on Getting Married

Me: We have to go shopping on Wednesday.
C: Why?
Me: Because your Uncle Mat is getting married soon and we have to buy a present!
C: I AM GETTING MARRIED!
Me: Oh?
C: Yeah, I am getting married far-far away.
Me: I will be sad if you go far-far away.
C: You can come.  You can come and get married!
Me: I am already married.
C: You can marry the freight cars!
Me: I wonder what Daddy will have to say about that....

Daddy's Home

C: Bye-bye! I’m going to Daddy’s home.
Me: Where does Daddy live?
C: In his house.
Me: Where is his house?
C: Over there. (points around corner to the computer chair) Can you come with me?
Me: No, I’m going to stay in my house.

Sleepy Knees

Me: Are you sleepy?
C: *nod*
Me: You have sleepy eyes.
C: No I don't!  Don't say that! That's not true!
Me: You have sleepy cheeks.
C: No, I have sleepy knees!

Lime Kiln Hike

Beautiful hike along the Stilly up to the Lime Kiln! Colton walked a good portion of it, and rode the rest of the way either on my shoulders or was carried by Dad. Fun little hike and picnic lunch! Kiddo is STILL out and it's almost 5pm! Must've worn him out :)
