Colton & the Easter Bunny
C: Mom, can you talk through your nose?
Me: I'm pretty sure I can. How's this?
C: You talked through your mouth.
Me: Okay then, show me how you talk through your nose.
C: Okay. ....silence.... I just need to think of what my nose should say.
C: Is it Easter time?
Me: Yep! Do you think the Easter Bunny will come tonight?
C: Yeah! And I am going to stay up all night to see the Easter Bunny and you can stay up with me!
Me: That would be too late for me.
C: I will just take little sleeps.
C: I am going to stay up all night and hide the eggs from the Easter Bunny. I will hide them in your room so you have some to find too!
C: Can we write the Easter Bunny a note?
Me: Sure. What are you going to say in it?
C: We can say "Dear Easter Bunny."
Me: Anything else?
C: I don't know.
C: This is a map of the zoo [blank notecard], but I forgot to take it. It kind of looks like a spider except it has these little lines on it.
C: This is the perfect nest for babies and kids. Not for grown-ups. And the babies can't come on here if they drool.
C: I know what we can have for dinner!
Me: What?
C: The box in the corner of the kitchen!
Me: The manicotti shells? You'll have to ask Grandma about that, or your dad.
C: *whispers in my ear* Mom, we have a secret for Dad.
Me: What's our secret?
C: *whispers* Uhm. Uhm, tell him to drink coffee!
Me: Why?
C: So can he try it.
Me: He has tried it and he doesn't like it.
