Colton Takes the Train

Santa Train
Santa: And what do you want for Christmas?
C: A Christmas train!
Santa: A Christmas tree? Those aren't so great inside all year long.

Us: Are you gonna high-five Santa? Or give him knuckles?
C: Tickles!
Santa: I don't know if you know, but Santa isn't ticklish.
C: Oh, but I know a lot about stuff.

Visiting Santa
C: This granola bar is scrump-chy!

C: Hey guys, I know how to open presents!
Dad: I bet you do, but it's not time.

C: Mom, I want some bunnies!
Me: Sorry, I ate them all.
C: Well, I will take them all out of your tummy!

Train whistle
C: Mom, if you ask nicely, I will give you a ticket to ride on the train. But if you talk mean, I won't. So say, "Please, can I have a ticket?"
Me: Please, can I have a ticket?

C: We're going grocery shopping in the morning!
Dad: Yeah.
C: We're gonna get eggs, shiny red apples, oranges, and coffee for Mom!

Watching the world go by
Giving the bear a kiss
Another exhausting adventure!

♥ ♥ ♥
C: Mom, I have a problem.
Me: What's your problem?
C: I need to know why Santa visits on Christmas.
Me: He comes to see girls and boys that go to sleep. But it's not Christmas time yet, so you don't have to worry. G'nite, buddy.

After wandering over for a hug from Dad after a particularly manic evening with the little guy ~
Dad: We have wine.
C: And applesauce!
