Colton on the Flag

Me: Do you remember what colors are in our flag?
C: Red and blue and white.  It's called the American flag.  And that's where Jack is from!
Me: Jack?
C: Yeah, from preschool.
Me: Oh, right. 

C: I'm gonna wear my bomber jacket! It has a flag and a Transformer on it!

C: I have a gift for you!
Me: I don't want it right now (a sticker), but thanks anyway.
C: When are you gonna want it?
Me: I'm not.
C: You're losing your time to get your gift!

Me (to Jensen): That was a fast nap, Mr. Man.
C: You can just take a longer nap.
Me: Please?

C: I don't like stew.
Me: I pulled out some things you need to eat.
C: I don't like the broth on them.
Me: It's not on the vegetables.
C: Yes it is! And I do not like it! 
Me: Sorry, but that's what's for dinner, and if you don't eat it, then there's nothing else.
C: You just shouldn't have stew when I'm around!

Me: Where are your pants?  (things I never thought I'd have to ask...)
C: They slid off!

C: Sorry Mom, I really have some work to get done with.
Me: Like what?
C: Building an airplane.
Me: Oh.  Alright.

C: I want you to sit next to me every day!
Me: I can't, buddy. 
C: How 'bout we just sign you out of work?  Would that be a good idea?
