Colton on Fancy Pants

Me: What do you think about having some babies come to live with us?
C: NO WAY!

Dad: We'll need another highchair.
C: Why?
Me: So the babies will have somewhere to sit.
C: Oh.  And I will help you feed them!
Me: You can help me do lots of stuff. 

C: What way are we turning?
Me: Left.  See, you can make an L with your left hand.
C: But I don't have big fingers.

C: Wow Mom, you have fancy pants!  (Apparently this child has not seen me in a skirt)  Are you gonna be a teacher?

C: Some guy gave me new Thomas bath paints!
Dad: Do you remember who that guy was?
C: Who?
Dad: It was your Uncle Mat and Aunt Bridgette that brought those for you!
C: Oh, and I said thanks! 
(Thanks again ~ he's been insisting allllll day that we come home so he can use them!

Me: What was your favorite part of the day?
C: Eating waffles.

C: And I have lots of work to do about work stuff.
